Electrifying energy into
THE WHORROR SHOW
The Whorror Show is a one-of-a-kind drag performance in Los Angeles, blending live band music with themed productions inspired by horror culture. As the lead for marketing and design, I help craft each show's unique aesthetic, ensuring every performance delivers a fresh and exciting experience for audiences.
Design Objective
To engage, celebrate, and promote alternative drag performers, horror culture, and live musical performances while creating a safe and supportive space for the queer community.
Target Audience
The brand identity, marketing, and production of the Whorror Show are designed for the alternative and punk queer community, as well as anyone interested in drag or horror.

Signature Logo
Although the The Whorror Show branding changes dynamically depending on the theme of the event, the signature logotype and palette is inspired by the retro Halloween graphics of the 1950s and 1960s.
Pushing the boundaries of taboo design, sex positivity, and queer empowerment, I designed the “W” logomark as a loose response to the motifs of the Scarlet Letter, a novel about a woman who wears a letter “A” on her garments as a mark of judgement.

Social Media
Each month, I craft a full Instagram campaign to market our uniquely themed show, ensuring every post reflects its eerie aesthetic. From showcasing the drag artists and dress themes for guests to highlighting the supporting musical acts, vendors, and partners, every detail is designed to immerse our audience in the world of Whorror. These campaigns have heightened engagement and boosted the show's success—so much so that by our third performance, we had already sold out.
